NAME GALLERY
The oldest gallery in the city, established in 1964 and accessed by Princess Avenue, is located in an ultra-secure neighborhood, presence of the presidential palace with a few hectometers. In this modest building, by size, works by Ugandan artists (sculptures, paintings…) inspired by local life scenes and using various pictorial techniques, like pointillism. Temporary exhibitions are frequently organized. The exhibited tables are sold at prices ranging from a few hundred thousand to two or three million shillings. Dye and dye fabrics are also available for sale.
