THE ELIZA JANE
Hotel within walking distance of the French Quarter, featuring a French brasserie, a bar and a courtyard that serves as a private oasis
Former warehouses in a 19th-century building have been completely renovated to house The Eliza Jane's 196 rooms and suites. The design, by the renowned New York firm Stonehill Taylor, is worthy of a decorating magazine. From the rooms to the common areas, everything is trendy and thoughtful. The hotel also houses a French brasserie, a bar, a gym and a beautiful courtyard that serves as a private oasis. A very nice address on Magazine Street, a stone's throw from the French Quarter.

My only recommendation is to add brighter lighting to the rooms. It does have a romantic feel but doesn’t help if you’re working from the room.
My only negative would be that breakfast wasn’t included and it was pretty pricey at the little restaurant at the hotel. Delicious breakfast and great service, just not cheap! Would have been nice to have a little discount if you charge it to your room or something. Overall though, cannot recommend this hotel enough!
