We have stayed at predominately Hiltons for over the last 10 years. We especially love Embassy Suites. This property may break me of that.
First, if you like your Perks (water and what not) don't check-in online. Previously, if I checked in online I found my water or snacks in my room when I arrived, here the staff never leave the desk.
Housekeeping didn't replace all the towels in the room so we had to request more. Messaged the front desk and was told housekeeping had left for the evening so we had to come get them from the front desk. Go down there, and there were 3 staff standing around talking.
They gave us less than half the tickets for the managers reception and breakfast we needed. I spent more time up and down to the front desk than employees did.
This is the first trip that my kids didn't want to return to the pool. My daughter said she didn't think the chlorine levels were correct and the filter was past due for a cleaning. They also ran out of towels, but again that was left up to a guest to go get more (front desk was notified but a guest had to get them).
I contacted the front desk (as they request) for each issue and unless I can fix it myself they don't seem inclined to do anything about it.
We stayed for 6 nights. On day 5 we ran out of washclothes, shampoo, and conditioner. Let the front desk know and asked if they had any shampoo or conditioner we could use. She said she would let housekeeping know. Later that same evening we ran out of toilet paper, and apparently House Keeping hadn't restocked an extra of those either.
If you're a Diamond level member you should absolutely avoid this property. I heard multiple diamond member comment on missing benefits.
The Omelet station was awesome and delicious. Breakfast as a whole was pretty darn good.
The valets were nice and helpful, even though we didn't park a car. They came in to help the front desk when there was a line and were very responsive.
