The service was poor. My room wasn't made up on the first day or the second day. I asked the person at the front desk if it could be made up on the third day, but they didn't do it, even though I specifically asked the day before cleaning staff came in.. Just plain bad service.
Also the bathroom is old. Didn't bother me, but the tile is old with missing grout, toilet seat was lose. Tap leaks profusely when I turn it on which sends water across the vanity. Obviously not doing repairs. I told the front desk; they did not fix it.
The location is good, it's near restaurants but far away from Bourbon St that it's not loud at night. I was able to walk everywhere but it's not very close to public transportation. There is a fee for checking in early but they will hold your bags for you for no fee.
The two middle aged women who worked the desk in the mornings were both very condescending, it seemed like they didn't want me there. But Shaq the door man and the people at the desk in the evening were all amazing and very kind.
The room was small and the bed wasn't very comfortable but it was a fine place to spend the night.
There is no parking and very limited amenities, essentially none. And the lobby bathroom is apparently part of the restaurant so the hotel doesn't stock it, meaning it has no toilet paper in it half the time...
