This hotel is a good address for small budgets, located just a 20-minute walk from the churches of Lalibela. It offers 16 very clean rooms (which is important in this price range), tiled, bright and equipped with comfortable beds, recent bathrooms with hot water and a balcony with a beautiful view over a garden where monkeys live. The building isn't particularly charming, but the rooms really are good value for money. Ethiopian cuisine restaurant (rather mediocre), terrace bar. Wifi, excursions available.

Very good well located hotel, peti lunch acceptable pleasant terrace on street entertainment schoolchildren; but the restaurant is not the height. Rooms are spacious, in nice and CLEAN prices.

The information given here and in the last version of the guide is erroneous. If Alief concerve well some rooms of the standard recalled (rather " routard"), it is now a hotel with bright attractive rooms with balcony, bathtub, etc. a very interesting price. Here a few months the hotel will open a restaurant Ethiopian and international cuisine (where they plan to make more than pasta!). Very good hotel!
