The staff was very indifferent and rude, the taste of the hamburger was good but there should be a vegetarian option available, and also the french fries were not tasty, disappointing.

Anytime I'm in Frisco I stop in to buy 6 bags of pancake mix and take it home to Orange County to enjoy. Best pancakes ever!

Lovely restaurant. Service was good and good was nice and decent value. Venue was comfortable and not too crowded. Homemade apple tart was a treat.

Pretty decent food in classical Americana decorations. Fairly priced, quick and friendly service and good location. Standard fare, but made well enough. Not bad, not the best, perfectly (a little above) average.

We were seated immediately just as Happy Hour started. We ordered the burger & fries on the happy hour menu. The juicy burgers were as we requested (medium well), and the garlic fries were delicious as well. The crab
chowder was very good and made it a meal with the goat cheese & beet salad. Friendly and attentive service!

An institution with vintage memorabilia. I had the Blue Moon burger (skipping the bun) and it was very good. Not crowded on a weekday lunch time, and the staff members are friendly. Glad to support this long time establishment.

I saw lots of great reviews about this place and I'd have to agree with them! The cappucino was good but the Swedish pancakes were INCREDIBLE! I inhaled all 18 of them hah.

I love the vintage American decor inside, and the service was fast & prompt. Highly recommnd giving this place a stop on your visit to SF.

Been coming to Sears for 20 years the food has always been delicious just make sure you sit upstairs and don't sit downstairs!

Great place to eat! I would eat there at any time! The service was outstanding, always checking in keeping us up to date. We got there at 11 AM and we got right in, and were seated. It is right around the corner from the Hyatt hotel and anyone in the hotel can help you locate it. It's about a 4 minute walk. The restaurant gives the feeling of stepping back in time to old school San Francisco. The food was generously portioned. My wife got a veggie omelet and was impressed with the amount of veggies actually included in each bite.

We sat down and had our order taken by the waitress and waited. Larger tables came in after and got their food.

I had to stand up to get a waiters attention that we still did not get ours, he then popped in the back and came back with the food as it was obviously been sitting sitting there for awhile.

The waitress who took the order did not acknowledge or apologize for this but was quick to give us the bill.

Highly renowned old-school breakfast diner. Very cool to see the historical newspaper clippings and photos on the walls. Great hot chocolate- you can't go wrong starting your day with some Sears breakfast.

Lets first talk about parking, there is none lol. You probably have to look for a parking garage when you’re in San Francisco.

Food: this is the second time that we’ve been here and the food is good. I don’t know if everything is oooh soooo good. Just depends on what you order. For example,
my friend ordered the linguine and she added chicken breast. The chicken was like it was out of a can. She finished the pasta but left most of the chicken.

Now Pan Toasted Salmon, 100% recommended. The salmon was cooked to perfection, the buttered asparagus so tasty and the potatoes were tender. I also recommend their clam chowder, it’s has the right proportion of meat and potatoes.

The service: is excellent, all the servers we encountered were very polite and attentive. ask them for recommendations and they’ll tell you what’s good.

Ambiance: it’s well lit. It’s has like a very vintage look, maybe like the early 1900s era? Ummm, there’s photos of old photographs and military things. It’s also very historic to San Francisco. I like it. I totally recommend this place if you’re in the area.
