Chambers is the restaurant of the Phoenix Hotel, with the same pop chic ambience. In the evening, dine on the poolside terrace before gliding over to the library-bar, home to thousands of vinyl records. The menu features seasonal American dishes with French, Mediterranean and Japanese influences. The burger is a particular favorite with regulars. A splendid restaurant-bar frequented as much by hotel guests as by a host of Bay Area hipsters, as well as a poolside terrace.

Katie was amazing! Drinks were suberb and bread pudding was to die for.

Beautiful space, friendly staff, but was underwhelmed by the food (hence the 3 stars. Don't get the charcuterie). I don't drink but my friends said the cocktails were great.

Decent joint. One weird note though. They have a photo booth and didn't change the footer on it... So I paid $5 to lose one photo square in exchange for my everlasting reminder that "The Bridgespan Group had their 2023 SF Kickoff Party at Chambers in the Phoenix Hotel"... ????♂️

Food was a hit or miss. I heard from my friends that the lamb burger was nice, but the pork belly was the bomb, also the pasta dish and tofu dish were not recommended. I had hummus with flatbread, personally I think it's acceptable, but my friends who are not used to the Greek flavor hummus didn't enjoy it. As a starter the hummus portion was big, can definitely share with people and order extra flatbread.
