This small Puerto Rican restaurant on Haight's shopping street serves hearty, flavorful cuisine, ideal for lunch. On the menu: rice, vegetables and beef or chicken. You'll appreciate the many salads, with their varied, tasty seasonings. The atmosphere is simple and cheerful. The façade is magnificent, with its turquoise-painted bricks and Puerto Rican flag, and the interior is appropriately rustic, with bricks and photos of the island. It also boasts a terrace with pleasant, intimate spaces.

Not a fan. The food was not terrible, but it is NOT Puertorrican food. No substitutions for similar items was a bummer. Puertorrican restaurants usually have maltas and passion fruit juice as drink options. Neither were served here.

Lovely, hearty portions with great ambiance/atmosphere on SF's iconic Haight St.

Grab a bite here solo, with friends or on a date. No matter the occasion, it won't disappoint.

Highly recommend the Pastelon dish. The Sangria was STRONG (and tasty), definitely be weary but enjoy with friends!

I cant believe I've lived around the corner for 3 years and never been here. Food was delicious and the service was great. It's a smaller restaurant, but we were sat quickly on a Monday night. This is definitely the place to go if you're looking for puerto rican food in the city. We split the bistec encebollado with a side of maduros. The dish came with maduros but we finished the side as well. Probably going to become a regular here this year!
