Located upstairs in the Ferry Building, this new restaurant offers Jamaican flavors not so common on the streets of San Francisco. There aren't many dishes on the menu, but they're all delicious, fresh and full of flavor. Starting with the legendary jerk chicken, a braised chicken with a bouquet of 100% Jamaican spices. Of course, there are "patties", meat and vegetable fritters served with fried plantains. But there are also tasty vegetarian ital dishes from the Rasta culture. For a drink, try Jamaican hibiscus

If you are someone who grew up eating patties and are looking to feel nostalgic, then this is not the place. I'm from Florida and was expecting the light, flaky breading with the kinda soft minced meat inside however their patties are chunky, buttery, a little dry and overpriced. They're not horrible, but for $7, I'd rather wait until I go back to Florida and pay $2-$3 for what I'm used to and be able to get a couple of patties. I did not try the other food so the other items could be good, but they didn't pass the patty test so I wasn't super interested in finding out ????
