- pork and shrimp shumai was really good
- ham sui gok was ok. It was a bit soft, not keeping the crunchy texture
- mango pudding was ok, not too sweet but a bit more chewy than I like
Steamed pork bun was solid. Shrimp/pork shumai was somewhat decent, but I quite like that there are discernable pieces of whole (small) shrimp in the filling. Not bad, but not exceptional either
The deep fried pork puffs were truly awful. Both it and the spring rolls were served cold, likely made in a batch hours before I got them. Pork puff filling was sparse and drowned by the deep fried glutinous wrapping. Greasy, bland, disappointing. Deep fried spring rolls were mediocre. Served room temperature with a nondescript filling
Decent prices, not opposed to coming again but would need to be thoughtful about which items to pick and which to avoid
Food is soogood
Service surprisingly good for a Chinese restaurant, with food arriving fast and the host checking in a couple of times.
While it was a small venue with low staff, the food was delicious. It is heavier on the "cafe" aspect and less so on dim sum. Delicious and polite!
