They have some delicious smoked salmon, eggs benedict, and chicken & waffles

Hot pot was interesting. It looked like a Korean hot-stone bibimbop. Overall was good, portion is very big for a person.

This is the second time I've eaten here. Big portions. The first time I ate here was really good
but the breakfast/brunch menu didn't really meet the expectations. Friends said the sandwich lacked a bit of flavor.

The bacon here is so so good! I loved eating here. The food was good and fresh. The service was okay, but they are busy so I can’t blame them. Lee up the good work!!

A fusion restaurant with fun dishes and flavors. We were a group of three and ended up splitting the chicken and waffles, hot pot, and Gatai (Thai breakfast with minced chicken and egg). Everything is really tasty with a slight Thai twist to it. Our favorite was the chicken and waffles as their waffles tasted more like Belgian waffles.

They have a bottomless brunch mimosa which can be great if you want to get the party started early. But it also means it can get a bit loud. Their non-alcoholic drinks also looked good. I had the Thai iced tea which was a bit on the sweeter side but just the jolt I needed.

I’d come back if I was in the area, esp for the waffles.

Been meaning to try this for a while- the lunch/savory options looked so good but only tried the chicken and waffles. Was very excited about them, but I give it a 3/5. Waffle not as crispy as I would have liked, and wasn't too big a fan of the fried chicken. The batter was too close to the batter that fish and chips would have. Pricey too overall. Excellent presentation though!
Did have a bite of the deep fried french toast, found it too greasy/oily.

We ate dinner at Blackwood in spite of a less than ideal brunch experience a few years ago. The service was attentive and absolutely wonderful (as it was during brunch). The restaurant is clean, upscale and comfortable. The food we ate for dinner was delicious. We shared a bottle of good quality Chardonnay wine with our meal. The appetizers (fried calamari, lady in the blanket and Mieng kum kung) were prepared perfectly and were delicious. For our main dishes we shared the dinner stone pot and marina treasure. I highly recommend the dinner stone pot. It comes to the table sizzling, seafood cooked to perfection. We said we like spicy, for our taste, it could have been even spicier. But we enjoyed it very much. The marina treasure was bacon wrapped scallops. The presentation was beautiful and the scallops were mild and cooked perfectly. The millionaire’s bacon was thick and smoky. I’m not a fan of smoked food so can’t speak to the taste of the dish, but my husband enjoyed the combination very much. We were too full for dessert but we saw other diners enjoying lovely desserts. I highly recommend this restaurant for a good quality meal in a clean and comfortable environment.

Avoid - cloyingly sweet food, unpalatable. Hostile servers. Extremely loud. Can’t understand the positive reviews or the hype, the negative ones are spot on with our experience. Won’t visit again & wont recommend to anyone.

Service was impeccable, our water glasses were constantly being refillled and everyone was very friendly. For apps, we had the samosas, the marina strips, and the marina corn. The samosas had a light fluffy pastry but could have had a little more spice. The marina strips were very yummy, and the marina corn was a fun play on an elote and good for what it was. I had the 24-hour beef noodle soup. It was delicious, perfect for a winter day. I would call it a cross between a ramen and a pho. The short rib was fall off the bone tender. My SO had the dinner stone pot, which they mixed up for him. He thought it was one of the best he had ever eaten. Our friends shared the yellow curry, which was also really tasty. We had the snowball for dessert, and our friends had the coconut ice cream with mango. Both were good, but I wish I had changed the snowball from vanilla to the coconut ice cream that would have put it over the top for me. It was some good coconut ice cream. My SO and I both took home leftovers so we could squeeze dessert in, and they tasted just as good the next day. Sorry, no pics, we were hungry.

Nice restaurant for a weekend brunch. Nice neighborhood to walk around after.
I like the Asian fusion type of dishes like the pimped up ramyun.

Have had multiple trips here and got a consistently good experience every time.
Weekends can get crazy given their popularity.

My favs are panang curry (soo decadent) and their brunch Benedicts.

Nice ambiance. Good thai food. Had green curry and pad kee mow. Very good food presentation. Pad kee mow was well cooked and didn't taste too oil or too dry. Also got a side of russet wedges. Nice crispy wedges.

Fantastic food and wonderful dining experience. Ordered family style for our family. Appetizers were on point. Loved the Ahi Tuna (chef's kiss). They have plenty of selections. I suggest getting the beef noodle soup because the beef was so soft and falling off the bone. It was perfect for the cold weather in San Francisco. They also have braised beef for appetizers it was scrumptious! Their curry is okay it's too sweet for my liking. Very busy during the weekend but they have very friendly and attentive staff. Will definitely be back again.

This was the first place my wife and I ate at in San Francisco. She had done a lot of research on places for brunch and this was one that was recommended. As soon as we walked in there was an aroma of old, stale urine. We are both very accustomed to this since we both are in the medical field. Secondly the food was not good at all. Presentation was great, flavor was not. The only positive thing we have to comment on is the service was good. Given how many places there are to eat in SF I would highly recommend eating somewhere else.

Great Asian salad but pricey. Convenient location for dinner before a concert at the Palace of Fine Arts.

The Thai food is amazing.

This is advertised as American Thai fusion but really just bad Thai food with no flavor. The chicken curry dish was just fried dried burnt small pieces of chicken tossed in Thai spices with no flavor. Vegetarian curry and pad Thai were barely edible. Service was good.

Absolutely phenomenal. We chose Blackwood due to its high ratings and being on the same block as our hotel. It far surpassed our expectations. The corn cob ribs were out of this world delicious, perfectly cooked and so flavorful. Our Thai dinner dishes were so delicious, we barely spoke while eating. It was 10/10 experience and we look forward to being back in SF so we can visit again.

Food was way over priced and flavorless

I’ve lived in the city for 6 years and finally made it this place. The wait is what kept me away but what spot in the city doesn’t have a wait…

Food was actually pretty good and done well. Pricing is reasonable and the menu has something for all palates with a few Asian style dishes. I wouldn’t say you get white gurl wasted here but it can be a start.
