More than a restaurant, it's a concept. Sitting in the pretty courtyard for the evening session, you'll enjoy fine food while sneaking glimpses of auteur films (Fellini, for example) projected on the large raw concrete wall. If you choose to stop by before dark, you'll enjoy the room's concrete and fireplace decor, very post-industrial chic. On the menu, local oysters and fish served in a spicy sauce have a special place. A unique atmosphere.

The food would have been great anywhere else but at just over $300 for two people it was fine. Good if you are rich, not worth the time if you only have the money to treat yourself a couple of times a year! Honestly expected better from a bay area staple.
The food was alright, I ordered the miso-yam and it could have had more flavour and depth to the dish.
and my cocktail was delicious!
I had the smoked salmon for my first course and I will be thinking about it for weeks, absolutely fantastic. For the main course I got the coconut cauliflower masala which was very good, though could have used either more rice or less sauce but otherwise delicious. The chevre cheesecake was incredible, highly recommended.
