Une vraie ambiance diner américain, un personnel très sympathique mais... Une nourriture décevante, surtout vu les prix pratiqués. 60$ pour une bière (très bonne) et deux plats pas parfaits (un BLT au pain décevant, une salade composée d'aliments non-indiqués sur la carte que je ne pouvais pas manger), c'est vraiment trop, même pour San Francisco.

I'm down with a terrible sore throat. I arrived at 11:12 pm to go in for a milkshake and something I could swallow. The doors were locked. The manager on duty said there was a problem in the kitchen. He said a problem with the flu. Ironically, the restaurant had many others sitting enjoying food. The hours say it closes at midnight. Not so. It's at the whim of the manager who can't figure out problems in the kitchen or the story was made up. My last visit at this location - the food took almost an hour to arrive.

Sehr leckerers Essen... Waren hier frühstücken.. Buttermilk Pancakes... Wenn man schon mal in den USA ist, musste es das sein! ????
Es lief coole ältere Musik.. Passt zum ganzen Ambiente... Man fühlte sich zurück versetzt in die gute alte Zeit!
Einziges Manko...Sehr teuer!! Zweimal Pancakes, einen Cappuccino und Orangejuice fast 40 Dollar!!! ????

Buyer Beware! Spent $120.00 on 5 meals. 1 of the 5 came out correct. No sauce on burgers, no sides, wrong food, chicken way over cooked, no plastic ware. So very disappointed. Tried to impress my sister's all the way from Kentucky, instead just gave them indigestion! This is NOT the Mel's of Pigeon Forge, TN.

I’m 62 and this place gives me that nostalgic mood. In the early 80’s I used to have the Mel’s favorite with the avocado on it, banana Shake and cheese fries. Nowadays it’s not even close to what it was, but still worth the experience. I do recommend but I wish they could have the cheese sauce back on the cheese fries and the smiling cute waitresses that were just great on the job. No roller skates, just the smile would do it.

Good food. Poor service. Some items came fast. Others came slow. One member of our table of five finished eating their food before most got their food. The wine that was the first thing ordered was served long after the long wait for everyone to get their food. And then, long after we ate, I had to get up and hunt down our server to get our check so that we could leave.

Do not eat here! I know how bad it is and I went with a friend. He ordered tomato soup and they gave him pasta sauce. It was the most disgusting thing. The waiter said, yea that’s what it is! If you’re a tourist stay far away from this place!

Super tasty food for a good price. After travelling the US for almost 3 weeks we can say that this was our best experience! And the service from Melvin was the best:)

Cute place, but food was not worth it price or the hype.

Service was really slow. We came in at about 2pm so there weren't many others as main lunch time had passed. Took 10 minutes for anyone to come by to even take our drink order. We both kept it simple with cheeseburgers, and server was knowledgeable and asked us about toppings, type of cheese, etc. However, when our food came out it came out without any cheese on it. Our original server was no where to be found and had to get up to go look for someone else to tell, who look irritated we were asking. We never got a refill on soda because there was just no one around. Luckily the original server brought four glasses of water despite there only being two of us (crowded the table since there were also four place settings, but at least we had stuff to drink).

The actual food was just... Fine. Nothing particularly great, especially at about $25/person. The fries had no real seasoning, barely any salt even. Burger was just plain. Toppings were fresh and good quality, but on a boring burger that doesn't mean much.

Cuisine excellente avec des portions assez conséquentes, on en a pour notre argent. Le décor est sympa avec des juke-box à l'ancienne. Je n'ai pas résisté au plaisir de mettre une pièce pour lancer une chanson dans tout le restaurant.

Restaurant où l'on mange de très bons Hamburgers, avec un cadre rétro qui fleure bon les années 60, enfin pour ceux qui ont connu la série "Happy Days"!!!
