Since 1984, San Francisco's leather-loving gays have had their own festival. With a mission to promote alternative lifestyles such as fetishism and sadomasochism, the Folsom Street Fair is the world's biggest leather event. Since 2005, Venus' Playground has also offered a women-only area. For S&M enthusiasts, head for the big tents, where you can watch some interesting demonstrations... Sensitive souls please refrain: Folsom Street really does have it all!
