It's the biggest jazz festival on the West Coast and has seen Ella Fitzgerald, Duke Ellington, Count Basie and Billie Holliday! The Filmore Jazz Festival offers three stages and is spread over two days and two nights. All free of charge, so much so that it attracts over 100,000 visitors to its Pacific Heights neighborhood on Independence Day weekend. From sunrise to sunset, visitors can enjoy live music, browse arts and crafts booths and sample gourmet food and drink.
