San Francisco's Italian Heritage Parade celebrates the culture and history of the Italian community in the United States. For an entire afternoon, organizations, marching bands and floats in Italian colors enliven the streets of the North Beach district. You can reserve a table on the terrace of one of the many Italian restaurants in the area and get a front-row seat to see the latest Miss Italy, the Peroni beer float, an Elvis Presley and the various cars in the colors of the pork butcher, the grocer and other local figures!
