California's first cathedral with multiple Sunday services featuring plans from a Gothic church in Vic, Spain.

Inaugurated in 1854, it is the first cathedral in California. It was built at the request of Archbishop Alemany, the first archbishop of San Francisco. The cathedral was designed after the plans of a Gothic church in Vic, Spain, the archbishop's home town. There are several services on Sunday where you can attend mass in Cantonese, or with contemporary music, or classical music. Depending on your mood, the choice is yours!
