Concrete cathedral with a ribbed vault 58 m high, with large windows with a spectacular view of the city
This concrete cathedral built in 1972 has become a San Francisco landmark. The strange shape, straight out of a science fiction movie, is the result of a geometric design that creates a graceful curved structure and a ribbed vault that is 58 meters high. Large windows offer a spectacular view of the city. Very good acoustics for classical music and organ concerts. Theatrical and terrifying, it attracts thousands of visitors every year.

Une cathédral ultra moderne, très originale. L'extérieur peut lasser perplexe mais l'intérieur est vraiment magnifique. L'entrée est gratuite.
