City College Theater, west of campus in San Francisco, housing a gigantic Diego Rivera mural of 23 m long
On the west side of campus, the City College Theater houses a gigantic fresco by Diego Rivera, almost 23 meters long, representing the unity between North and South America. With Pan American Unity, the artist portrays this multicultural America from two points of view: that of the native and that of the European. Painted on panels and therefore transportable, it was exhibited at SFMoMA before returning here in 2024 in a new dedicated space.
