Museum overlooking the bay, in memory of some Californian soldiers, exhibiting a collection of sculptures and paintings.
Built in 1924 in memory of some 3,600 Californian soldiers who died in France during the First World War, its architecture is largely inspired by the Parisian museum of the Legion of Honor. Its collection includes more than four thousand sculptures, starting with Rodin's The Thinker, of which 80 pieces are on display here, but also paintings by Cézanne, Dalí, David, Gauguin, Picasso, Van Gogh... In addition to thousand-year-old Egyptian sarcophagi and many other antiquities. Admire the breathtaking view of the bay as you leave!
