MARITIME MUSEUM - AQUATIC PARK BATHHOUSE BUILDING
Museum in the shape of an ocean liner with a waterfront for pedestrians and bicycles and one of the few beaches in the bay.
A stop on the Maritime National Park tour , it is a reproduction of a liner in a characteristic late Art Deco architectural style (1939). The building was originally used as a bathhouse before being occupied by troops during World War II. The Aquatic Park Historic District is home to gardens, a pedestrian and bicycle waterfront, and one of the few beaches on the bay. The cable car terminal is located here.
