Alley in San Francisco considered as a rallying point for Jack Kerouac fans
This alley, connecting Grant Avenue to Columbus Avenue, is the rallying point for Jack Kerouac fans. A rose window features some of the most famous phrases of the writer, who is now considered one of the most important writers of the 20th century. It runs alongside the Vesuvio bar and the City Lights Bookstore, the meeting places of all the writers of the beat generation. The alley was inaugurated in 1988 in honor of this figure who marked his time and strongly marked the city with his aura.
