Catholic Church in the Italian community of North Beach celebrating a mass in honor of Italian immigrant fishermen
Saints Peter and Paul is the Catholic church of the Italian community in North Beach. Designed by architect Charles Fantoni in an Italian style, its construction was completed in 1924. Every year, a mass is held in honor of the fishermen, who were mostly Italian immigrants. In 1957, Marilyn Monroe and the baseball player Joe DiMaggio, already divorced, could not celebrate their wedding in the church and were content to take pictures in front of the portal.

Belle église, à visiter en même temps que le quartier italien. La façade mérite spécialement l'attention. Voir aussi le parc en face de l'église et les chiens en liberté.
