STERLING PARK
George Sterling Memorial Park with playgrounds offering a spectacular view of the Golden Gate Bridge
Tennis and basketball courts, as well as a park with spectacular views of the Golden Gate Bridge. He was nicknamed "the last of the bohemians", valued by Jack London and Ina Coolbrith on his eccentric side. At the top of the park, Alice Marble Tennis Court bears the name of the tennis star who won six trophies in Wimbledon. She was 1 world tennis number from 1936 to 1940.
