This contemporary art museum focusing on the culture of Afro-descendants and the African diaspora in the United States, and more specifically in California, is excellent. Located on the first floor of the Hôtel St Régis, next to the SFMoMa, it is small and concise, but the artistic proposal is intense, articulated around a dozen temporary exhibitions per year. Four emerging artists are exhibited simultaneously at each vernissage, a great launching pad for these artists.
