Strawberry Hill is a picturesque island in the center of Stow Lake, accessed by the Roman Bridge, the Rustic Bridge or by rowing. The lake is picturesque, right in the middle of Golden Gate Park, away from all the noise of the city. So take the chance to blend in with the beautiful nature. Many species of birds can be found here: gulls, ducks, herons and other more exotic birds have found refuge here. Bicycles, rowboats and pedal boats can be rented at 50 Stow Lake Drive, or you can walk around the lake.
