Nicknamed " the most winding street in the world " because of its steepness and especially its eight hairpin turns, it is a real institution in San Francisco. Unless you're a good driver, you'd better take the stairs before discovering a magnificent view on the bay. Useful to know, the cable car stops there at the top. Lined with splendid hydrangeas intensely blooming in spring, this road is even more impressive seen from below. This internationally famous street is reproduced in many movies and video games.
