ROSS ALLEY
Chinatown alley with a real Chinese life scene in San Francisco and considered as a meeting place for gamblers
One of those Chinatown alleys, as they were at the time of the Gold Rush, so narrow that the light just comes in to dry the laundry hanging from the windows. The oldest alley in San Francisco and the most intriguing without a doubt, with its murals on the daily life of the Chinese community, and above all its makeshift cookie factory that perfumes the street with the good smell of chocolate. In the early 20th century, it was even the meeting place of gamblers (money players). A real scene of Chinese life in San Francisco.
