The Zen Center in San Francisco houses a Zen Zen community founded in 1962 by Shunryu Suzuki Roshi (1904-1971). It is set in a vintage building of bricks designed by architect Julia Morgan in 1922. Open to the public for visits, meditation sessions and workshops. Possibility to stay for pensions.
