The plaque on this gentlemen's club explains well the specialty of the house: topless. It is indeed at the Condor that the barmaid Carol Doda decided to drop the top, then the bottom in 1969. For the anecdote, a strange death occurred there in 1983. Bouncer Jimmy Ferrozzo and his girlfriend, dancer Theresa Hill, had sex on the white piano that Carol Doda was playing, lowered from the ceiling by cables. They accidentally pressed "walk" and the piano rose quickly, trapping the couple and asphyxiating Ferrozzo, who was heavier than Hill.
