Advantages: the French website and the closest agency to the BART station. AVIS was founded in 1946 by Warren Avis (August 4, 1915 - April 24, 2007) in the United States. Initially located at Willow Airport in Detroit, the company became the second largest car rental company in the United States in 1953. In 1956, for its tenth anniversary, AVIS opened its first international offices (Europe, Canada and Mexico). Today, Avis is present in 163 countries with 5,000 rental agencies around the world.

A piece of advice: It is better to book from the French site, expensive at the base but which includes the insurance (book directly over there, you must add around $30 moreover per day rental)
