Close to the university, the Berkeley City Club was built in 1929 by Julia Morgan, famous for her architectural masterpiece, the Hearst Castle in San Simeon. The Berkeley City Club is such a jam, in the middle of downtown Berkeley. The place is gorgeous and so unique having been designed by Julia Morgan. It’s a charming location for weddings and events.
