Oakland, like its neighbor Berkeley, has a large Vietnamese community, which is reflected in the city's choice of restaurants. This restaurant serves authentic, high-quality Vietnamese cuisine at an affordable price. Located in the heart of downtown, it's often busy with locals and Asians alike, who appreciate the tasty flavors of the dishes. With hearty portions and delicious pho and bo bun soups, you won't be disappointed. The room is very pleasant, recently renovated, a far cry from boui boui, and the dishes well presented.

Ordered Vietnamese Chilli Sate.
Unfortunately, the chicken tasted like it was stored in the freezer for many years, and the dish I ordered happened to have only chicken with little onion. But the sauce was good. I wish they used better and fresh meat and put some vegetables in the dish. The taste of the chicken made me believe that the chicken they used was cheaper than vegetables. That's why there were no vegetables in the dish at all.
