MAGNIN BUILDING
Marble and green ceramic building housing an upscale department store since 1995, shops and offices since 2000.
Beautiful Arts-Deco building in marble and green ceramic with beautiful carved details above the windows. This true architectural gem designed in 1931 by the architectural firm Weeks and Day housed an upscale department store until its closure in 1995. The building's green terra cotta facade and Art Deco ornamentation make it a major landmark and local tourist attraction in the Uptown area. The interior of the building was completely renovated in 2000 and now houses retail and office space.
