For the best views of the San Francisco Bay Area, take the Panoramic Highway and then Ridgecrest Road, which will take you almost to the top of Mount Tamalpais, which rises to an altitude of 784 meters. Leave your vehicle in the paid parking lot. It's just a few minutes of easy climbing.
