Located near the former Tombs of the Kings, this 5-star hotel is frequently awarded international prizes. Combining in its appearance the richness of traditional architecture with modern details, Elysium is a mixture of different influences (Byzantine, Greek, Venetian or Roman) which at the same time offers impeccable comfort. Beautiful hotel and grounds, and lovely choice of top notch restaurants. Everything very clean, and we ate and drank very well, if you're willing to pay the price.
Only negative comment would be about the service, which we found to be very slow, especially in the pool bar and main bar, and at the reception. There never seemed to be any kind of urgency which is not what I would personally expect from a 5* hotel. The mini bar in the room was also routinely not restocked, and they charged a large fee for room service even if ordering beers that should have been in the mini bar.
Overall a brilliant holiday, which was not spoiled by the above points. Food and drinks were all excellent and the pool area was a lovely place to relax.

We spend 5 nights, all the family, 4 rooms.
The team is the best team we have ever met.
They do all they can to make the vacation enjoyable and us to feel welcome.
The pool is very nice, all the hotel and its facilities are very clean and location is great.
We will definitely come again.
