KTIMA
Paphos' old and upper town is home to museums, the market, traditional restaurants, the Kebir mosque, parks...
Very pleasant and relatively untouristy, the old and upper town of Paphos owes its name of Ktima/Κτήμα ("domain") to the fact that it is a former royal estate of the Lusignans. Paphos was officially called Ktima until 1970. Here you'll find the town hall, shops, traditional restaurants, cafés, parks, the municipal market, churches, the Kebir mosque and the old Turkish Cypriot quarter of Mouttalos (Μουτταλος) as well as the ethnographic museum. Kato Paphos can be reached by bus lineno. 610.
