PLACE KENNEDY
Pedestrian square in Ktima, the upper part of Paphos. Bars mostly frequented by locals. Municipal park nearby.
This square lined with bars mostly frequented by locals (Πλατεία Κένεντυ/Platia Kenedy) forms the center of the old town of Ktima, the upper part of Paphos. Located along the B 6 road between Limassol and Polis, it is named in honor of US President John Fitzgerald Kennedy (1917-1963). It has recently been refurbished with marble slabs, a small park on the other side of the road and huge lighting pylons. 150 m to the south-east are the town hall and the pleasant municipal park with its archaeological remains.
