Impressive wreck of an 80 m long ship that ran aground in 2011 in the pretty bay of Pegia, lined with underwater caves.

This impressive wreck (Ναυάγιο Edro III/Navagio Edro III, Edro III Shipwreck) lies in the beautiful little bay of Pegia lined with underwater caves. Flying the Sierro-Leonese flag, this 80 m-long vessel ran aground here in December 2011 and remains in relatively good condition, clearly visible from the coast. Elsewhere, diving clubs offer the chance to explore other underwater wrecks: that of the Vera K, sunk in 1972 off Paphos' Rikkos Beach, or that of the Demetrios II, grounded in 1998 off the Tombs of the Kings.
