AGION KYRIKOS AND IOULITTI CHAPEL
chapel modified in the century. Beautiful frescoes, mainly from the century, but some painted areas have disappeared.
This 12th-century Greek Orthodox chapel (Ιερό Παρεκκλήσι Αγίων Κυρίκου και Ιουλίττης/Iero Parekklisi Agion Kyrikou et Ioulittis) was remodeled in the 15th century. It features beautiful frescoes, mainly from the 15th century, but some painted areas have disappeared. It is the only church in Cyprus dedicated to Saints Cyr and Juliet of Tarsus, one of the youngest Christian martyrs and his mother, who died in Cilicia (south of Turkey) in the 3rd century. Feast day: July 15.
