This municipal museum (Μουσείο Χελώνας Ίννιας-Λάρας/Mousio Chelonas Innias-Laras, Innia-Lara Turtle Museum) is located in the village of Inia/Ίνεια (or Innia/Ίννια) and is dedicated to turtles, mainly to the two marine species that come to lay their eggs at Cape Lara and on the beaches of the Akamas peninsula: the green turtle (Chelonia mydas) and the loggerhead turtle (Caretta caretta).
