PACHYAMMOS HISTORY MUSEUM
Museum dedicated to the fighting of August 1964, in particular the napalm attack on Pachyammos by the Turkish air force.
This municipal museum (Μουσείο Ιστορίας Παχύαμμου/Mousio Istorias Pachyammou) consists of a single room housing photos of the "Battle of Tillyrie", in August 1964. Sensitive souls are advised to abstain: in particular, the victims of the napalm attack on Pachyammos can be seen. On the same square, you'll find the large "miraculous" church of Agios Rafaïl (St. Raphael), dating from 1992, and two monuments to the Greek-Cypriot victims of the fighting in 1964 and 1974.
