MARITIM ANTONINE HOTEL & SPA * * * *
This establishment in the heart of the village offers 107 rooms, 21 junior suites and larger suites, all modern and tastefully decorated. Those on the top floors with sea views are obviously more interesting. At the rear of the hotel, you'll find a superb botanical garden surrounding the outdoor swimming pool. Another is on the roof, cascading down to the sea. The colorful facade completes the picture.
The By Transforma Spa is one of the hotel's highlights. Numerous treatments are offered. The facilities are those expected of a hotel of this standard: sauna, whirlpool, massage, gym... The Antonine Al Fresco restaurant has just opened this summer on the roof, serving excellent Thai cuisine from Tuesday to Sunday from 7pm.

There was a guy who claimed to be the guest relations manager. He was very rude, unprofessional and send security to us for no reason.. we felt like criminals in stead of guest. The next day other staff members said that he was not a manager.
Last but not least the breakfast was poor. We where not able to swim in the inside pool cause of to much chlorine. Our eyes started burning when we walked inside of the pool area.

We are so deeply saddened that our hotel did not completely fulfill your expectations, as you can see this is not the feedback we normally receive, however it is with the utmost respect that, for the benefit of any other members, we are given the opportunity to relay the facts in a correct and fair context.
As your confirmation will clarify, the reservation was for a standard twin room with street / village view with a request for a double bed. If I could highlight that such requests are in fact subject to availability. Where we do have a number of double beds with double mattresses, we also like many establishments adopt a wraparound system where a double topper is attached to two single beds.
The above being said we had actually allocated you a room with a double bed by incorporating an upgrade to a garden view room. The reception is as you may now be aware is on level 3 , however level one is actually level with the garden and pool, although I appreciate that being late in the evening this may not have been apparent .
We of course acknowledge that you voiced your concern with the air conditioning which resulted in our staff offering multiple room options for the evening in question, some of which have twin beds. Despite all efforts made, your insistence on having a double bed mattress resulted in the allocation of a room that was part of a family booking the following day and was clearly explained.
Please note that we have several guest relation staff and departmental managers covering a duty roster system ,there for the gentleman you refer to was not in any way deceiving you. On the contrary he, I understand, spent some time attempting to offer rooms to your liking. Unfortunately, these were refused due to the lack of a double bed and not the quality of room.
To resolve the issue in hand we were able to offer a new deluxe room with double bed on the early hours of the 17th , leaving the rest of your stay without issue.
In conclusion, we again offer our humblest apologies for any inconvenience, but sincerely hope that you will return to afford us the opportunity to restore your confidence in The Maritim Antonine Hotel
