ORFILA * * * * *
Exceptional hotel combining luxury and charm, has a pleasant terrace
This exceptional hotel is one of Madrid's two Relais et Châteaux members. Housed in a 19th-century palace, the hotel combines luxury with charm, while retaining a certain intimacy, since there are only 32 rooms (including 12 suites). Marble, wood panelling, furnishings and a pleasant terrace all combine to create an exquisite stay in a somewhat rococo atmosphere. And for gourmets, 2-Michelin-starred chef Mario Sandoval is at the helm of the Orfila. To the delight of those lucky enough to treat themselves to an evening there!

El Señor Bruce es de trato distante, no agradable y poco resolutivo.
Envíe una solitud con comprobante de pago y me llamó a tratarme de forma displicente.
La atención al cliente debería ser prioridad.
The room, while beautiful, gets a slightly lower score (and brings the whole score down), as the air conditioning did not work well. In fact, the default when coming into the room for check-in was an extremely warm 26+ degrees Celcius, which was unpleasant. Even putting it down the whole night at the lowest temperature, the room was still warm. The shower was extremely complicated to use, which made no sense, with multiple buttons and handles and the water pressure was very soft.
I would not stay there again for those reasons as rooms and comfort are most important to me, which is a pity as the service and location was great.
