Big Cypress Scenic Byways, Loop Road and Turner River - Wagonwheel - Birdon Roads Loop
Big Cypress has two relatively unknown scenic routes. They allow you to get a good look at the flora in the heart of the preserve without leaving your vehicle, and for free! The first, 27 miles long, is the Loop Road which runs through a forest of dwarf cypress and pine trees. The other road is only 17 miles long, it is the Turner River - Wagonwheel - Birdon Roads Loop which crosses meadows, an opportunity to observe birds in the wild. Keep your eyes open, it is not uncommon to come across several alligators lazing along the roads!

On y croise des oiseaux et parfois des pythons. Heureusement on peut faire tout cela en restant dans la voiture!
