A canoe trip to discover the wilderness of this area up close. The trip starts at the Gulf Coast Visitor Center, where you can get a navigation map and further explanations. After an hour's paddle, you'll arrive at Sandfly Island where you can stop and walk a trail. Be sure to tie up your boat! We recommend that you wear water shoes and check the time of the tide before you leave.
