MUSEUM OF THE EVERGLADES
Museum in an old laundry retracing the history of the human adventure in the Everglades through photos, objects
In the heart of the quiet little town of Everglades City, this small museum is housed in an old laundry built in 1927, with wooden architecture that has been restored to its original state. Entirely run by volunteers, it presents the human adventure in the Everglades through photos, archives and various objects. 2,000 years of history are traced here. The visit should not take you more than 20 minutes, so we advise you to stop by. The museum is now listed as a historic building.
