Family owned and operated motel with pool, located on the Gulf of Mexico, with 20 modestly appointed rooms
Let's be honest: staying on Marco Island comes at a price. If you're up for it, this family-run motel on the Gulf of Mexico is a great alternative to the fancy resorts. You'll find 20 soberly furnished rooms equipped with microwave and refrigerator but also three apartments and a house. Special mention for the swimming pool overlooking the Gulf and the private pontoon where you can enjoy the sunset. An address full of charm.

This is a pretty expensive area for hotels, so for one of the cheaper places in the area, I was pleasantly surprised with the room I got. It was clean, nice looking, and the bed was comfy. Yeah, it's not new or luxury, but given the going rate in the area, it's nice to see that they do a good job in caring for the place and their guests. The service was friendly and welcoming and I would definitely stay here again.

This place is absolutely amazing!!! I can't say enough about this place but you have to go!! It's on the water. They have a good size pool and the rooms are very clean. The bed was so comfortable and we had hot water our whole stay. Melody was amazing and the owner Desirae is fabulous!!! Thank you for an amazing time and we will definitely be back!!

This hotel is quaint and a hidden little gem on the island! Check in/out was easy and the room was very clean. Nothing fancy, but it had all of the essentials and was in a great area. The bottom floors are still being renovated due to the hurricane damage, but I never noticed any construction sounds at all. I could hear our neighbors a bit since there was a shared, locked door between our room, but it wasn't terribly loud. I would stay here again!

Awesome place to stay with very clean and updated rooms. Our group had 2 rooms and both where very nice and comfortable. Super friendly and helpful staff, I would highly recommend staying here. We had a 24' boat that we rented and the slips did the job well and the fishing is good right of the docks.

If you go to Marco Island be aware that the beach is not convenient. You have to pay and there is not easy facilities. We were also disappointed on the never ending car traffic. Our room was clean, a bit out dated but there is some work being done on some rooms. The bed was worn a bit with a hump in the center. The pool was nice and warm. The view of the water (an inlet not ocean) was nice with boat traffic to entertain you. We saw manatee and dolphin. All in all it was ok, but we won't be back to Marco Island. We don't feel the people who live there want us there. But the Boat House had a friendly crew.
