Bed and breakfast in a house from the beginning of the 20th century that offers four large rooms with a beautiful garden

This Bed and Breakfast, installed in a house from the beginning of the XXth century, offers five large and cosy rooms full of charm. The home-made breakfast is excellent, you will enjoy pancakes with fresh fruits, various breads, eggs and bacon... Without forgetting the beautiful garden where it is good to rest with a book. Bob and Colleen's welcome is generous and friendly. The slogan of the house is: Arrive as guests, leave as friends. An excellent address at five minutes walk from downtown.

Beautiful establishment and room, excellent location for visiting the Edison & Ford Estates, and lovely breakfast which is much more than continental. It reminded us of a quaint northern B&B. The communication was superb and our visit was flawless.

A perfect place to stay in Ft. Myers. The location is terrific; a ten minute walk to town (try "Izzy's" for seafood!) and about the same to The Veranda--a classy nouveau/traditional Southern white-table cloth restaurant also in town. What was particularly nice about our room (The Orchid Room--though I venture that one can say the same about all of them) was that (a) everything worked; (b) real wooden hangers that one could remove from the closet rod, and (c) the room was spotless. In sum, everything seemed to be where it was supposed to be. Note that check-in is almost remote--you're emailed the door codes so one can enter with no staff contact. In fact, this remains the same for one's entire stay. If you need, or are looking for a place where the host give lots of warm fuzzy's and seems to need to engage in small talk, this place is not for you. On the other hand, If you're looking for a great B&B that delivers a terrific continental buffet instead of grits and waffles--with only other guests in the breakfast room should you want to converse--- you'll be fine. For us, that was actually better. Great parking as well. We highly recommend.

We had an absolutely amazing 2 night stay at the Hibiscus House of FM. Super clean and comfy home that felt like I was at my own family home. Staff was amazing and the breakfast's were great. I will be recommending this beautiful B&B to all my family and friends when visiting Fort Myers.

We stayed in the Bougainvillea room this past week. The lights from the parking lot shines in the room all night( too bright, even with blinds) the bed was bumpy and uncomfortable. It was freezing in the room, we froze ( no thermostat to be found) now, I have a horrible cold... bad experience.....

Our 5 night stay in the Orchid room at the Hibiscus House of Fort Myers was delightful! The historic house is set amongst beautiful landscaping, and the parking lot is conveniently located in the back yard. The freshly painted and well-decorated sleeping accommodations were clean, comfortable and homey. The daily hot and cold continental breakfast was tasty and satisfying. We loved the convenient, central location of the Hibiscus House, and found that shopping and restaurants, as well as the Edison-Ford summer estates, were all within walking distance, or a very short drive if you prefer. We definitely would stay here again!
