Fort Myers Park with picnic pavilions and numerous free-roaming sea manatee viewing areas

The park allows you to observe the sea manatee in freedom, or in control, in a natural environment. This mammal nicknamed "sea cow" measures three meters long on average and weighs more than 400 kilos. It can be seen from the many observation points in the park, but also directly from the water if you rent a canoe to sail on the Orange River. The best time to see manatees is in the late summer or winter season, when the waters of the Gulf of Mexico are cooler. The park also has picnic pavilions.

Bonne balade.
